Our Story

Malaco Technology has a long history in Queensland education. Founded in 1999, Malaco commenced it’s first IT Support contract at a high school on Brisbane’s Bayside. Malaco’s reputation for transparent ‘pay for what you use’ support quickly drew attention within the education community.

Over the next two decades, Malaco has grown to support a community of 35 schools with a dedicated team of over 30 technicians. We continue to foster our unique approach, which has been refined over nearly 25 years, to provide industry standard IT support to Queensland schools.

    We hold all required insurances including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity & Work Cover. Our team all hold valid Blue Cards, Orange Cards where applicable and Malaco holds QAssure accreditation.

  • For Business Managers

    Our support and services are structured with Business Managers in mind. We invoice monthly on a transparent itemised invoice and offer both account and credit card facilities. We comply with individual school procedures including signing in and out and can be flexible with school holiday periods.

    All schools may share a common goal however we understand that every school is unique. We work with each individual school to ensure our services are customised to suit the unique objectives, address pain points and service the unique systems which make up the school community.
